SIERRA BONITA APARTMENTS FULLY OCCUPIED Thank you to everyone who participated in the lottery for a unit at Sierra Bonita Apartments. The building is fully occupied, and the waitlist is full. No applications are currently being accepted. If you applied for an apartment, please check your lottery number below to see where your name is on the wait list. Sierra Bonita Lottery Results Thank you everyone who participated in the lottery application process for Sierra Bonita Apartments. Below are two PDF lists. One is in order of selection, and the other is in the order in which lottery numbers were drawn. The lists are 76 pages long; instructions how to find your number on line are included in each PDF, so you do not have to print out the list. Applicants will be contacted for interviews in the order listed until all units are filled. Again thank you to everyone, and WHCHC looks forward to meeting our new residents! Application Period is Closed for Sierra Bonita |

The application period is closed as of Friday afternoon, August 21st, and applications are now no longer being accepted for Sierra Bonita Apartments. Thank you to everyone who participated. The lottery to determine the finalists will be conducted on August 31st, and all applications postmarked August 3rd through August 21st will be eligible for the lottery. Each application will be given a number, and that number will be mailed to each applicant on a postcard.The lottery results will be posted online at whchc.org on Friday, September 4, 2009. After the lottery drawing is concluded, eligible applicants will be contacted for interviews in the order they were randomly selected in the lottery until all units are filled. Once all units are filled, the remaining applicants will be placed on the Sierra Bonita Apartments waiting list. Due to the high volume of eligible applications received and the limited number of units available, not all applicants will be contacted for an interview. Thank you again very much for participating in the lottery, and wanting to be a resident in this exciting new development. |

WHCHC was very pleased to have been awarded a $10,000 grant from the Wells Fargo Foundation, which will assist us in supporting our housing development activities.
The Wells Fargo Foundation recognizes that, especially in this economic environment, many of their community partners are finding it challenging to identify andobtain funding for development and administrative operations.
WHCHC is extremely fortunate to have Wells Fargo as our banking and lending partner. Wells Fargo Bank is our construction lender for the Sierra Bonita Apartments, and as such will be loaning the project $11 million in construction funding needed to build the housing. |

California Community Foundation awards WHCHC $100,000 Grant! |

California Community Foundation is one of the leading philanthropic organizations in Los Angeles County, managing more than $1 billion in assets. Each year, it gives out more than $100 million in grants to invest in the future of its local communities.
In order to continue to build housing for low income and special needs populations, WHCHC needs to raise funds to support its housing development and operations.
This year, WHCHC submitted a competitive proposal for core operating support and was extremely fortunate to receive a $100,000 grant to support its efforts to build additional affordable housing in West Hollywood as well as adjacent communities.
