The signature feature at The Palm is the panorama of classic cartoons and caricatures of Palm regulars, international movie stars and local celebrities hanging on the dining room walls. The tradition started at the original Palm in New York during the 1920s, when cash-strapped cartoonists from nearby King Features Syndicate offices swapped drawings for plates of spaghetti.
Today, celebrities like Daniel Craig, George Clooney, Mickey Rourke, and Adam Sandler grace the walls as well as the tables of The Palm in West Hollywood while their established colleagues Billy Crystal and Regis Philbin are content doing the same, as they have frequented The Palm for many years.
