Patricia’s accolades are glittered with Academy, Golden Globe, BAFTA, SAG, Emmy and Independent Spirit awards. More than just a talented performer, she is also a fighter for causes that most people shy away from.
“Patricia Arquette doesn’t miss an opportunity to use her platform, including some of the most viewed stages in the world, to speak up for people experiencing homelessness, for transgender individuals, for gender equality and more,” said Jesse Slansky, WHCHC President & CEO.
“I first and foremost want to thank the boots on the ground—the employees and volunteers of WHCHC—for all you are doing every day,” said Patricia. “I’m humbled and honored to receive this award. Respect, compassion and dignity can change people’s lives.”
Patricia has a unique connection to WHCHC. Her sister, Alexis, was a resident of a WHCHC-developed apartment community. A passionate advocate for affordable housing, Patricia laments, “So many millions of Americans are one emergency away from homelessness.”
