Comfort and Stability are Always In Season

Aida was desperate for a change. Forced to sleep on a couch in a cramped apartment, the rats in the dirty building were the last straw. She began frantically looking for somewhere affordable, clean, and safe.

On her birthday, she got the call with the greatest gift imaginable: an apartment was available for her at
Westmore Linden. She knew furniture would help turn her house into a home. Now, thanks to WHCHC Resident Services Coordinators and our community partners, Aida’s home is fully furnished, including a brand new microwave. Here she is posing happily in her apartment with her beautiful new appliance. "I feel very blessed that there are people in places to help you,” Aida said. “I am so grateful.”

Designed for Living Well
Hayworth House resident Roxy has always prioritized home decorating. An award-winning interior designer, she looks at her apartment community from an artist’s point of view. Roxy expressed how much she likes the building’s layout, palette, and the way it is complemented by three beautiful plants. “I walked in [to Hayworth House] and loved the bones of the building,” Roxy explained. Her at-home hobbies include decorating her apartment and her neighbors'! “I’ve spent a lot of time redecorating,” Roxy shared. “My style tends to be minimalistic.” Roxy had previously lived in a studio apartment with her son. Today, Roxy thrives on her own at Hayworth House. “I found out about this opportunity, and I just remember thinking… ‘Thank God’!”
