Project Description
Blue Hibiscus is the new construction of 22 units of affordable rental housing for very low-income people with special needs. Designed by Killefer Flammang Architects (KFA) and awarded LEED Platinum for environmental sustainability, the building is located in the City of West Hollywood near the major transit intersection of Santa Monica Blvd. and La Brea Ave. Dreyfuss Construction broke ground in January 2017 and residents took occupancy in the fall of 2018. WHCHC’s resident services staff offer voluntary, on-site, comprehensive supportive services free of charge to all residents.
