Stovall Villa, WHCHC’s first project in the City of Los Angeles, provides 31 units of low-income housing for older adults 62 years and above.
The project is adjacent to 97 units of existing senior housing, Stovall Terrace, built in 1985 by the Stovall Housing Corporation, a community-based nonprofit.
WHCHC worked with Stovall Housing Corporation in order to lease the land necessary to build Stovall Villa, thus creating the opportunity to house more low-income seniors on underutilized land. An existing exterior courtyard is shared by both buildings, with landscaping, outdoor seating and areas for summer barbeques.
This Community is rated 72 for walkability
